Where the data comes from

Map data — OpenStreetMap

Buildings, roads, railways, coastlines, and land use all come from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. Every model you export carries that data forward under the same terms — if you share a model built from a specific area, crediting OpenStreetMap is the right thing to do, and the license asks for it too.

Terrain — Copernicus

Elevation comes from the Copernicus GLO-30 DEM, a global 30-meter elevation dataset produced for the European Union's Copernicus program.

Software

Map2Mesh is built on open-source geometry libraries, most directly Manifold for the boolean operations and watertightness checks that keep every exported body printable.
